This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Oversee and manage customer deployments of our platform both on-premise and in the cloud, ensuring consistent reliability and quick resolution of technical challenges.
• Strategize, package, and implement software updates for internal teams and customers, including comprehensive testing and validation processes.
• Work closely with the engineering team to guarantee quality deployments and uphold a high level of product reliability.
• Deploy, oversee, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure a dependable and scalable infrastructure.
• Establish and manage monitoring systems to proactively identify and rectify issues in production environments.
• Develop scripts and automation for deployment, infrastructure management, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
• Create tools and automation processes to enhance deployment efficiency and platform integration.
• Contribute to continuous integration pipelines that identify regressions across various components and system integrations.
• Develop and uphold clear documentation for systems, processes, and tools to enhance team efficiency.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-pressure production settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in Linux system administration, software packaging, and delivery.
• Strong understanding of Linux networking principles, including firewalls, DNS, proxies, and industry best practices.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
• Good knowledge of the CNCF/cloud-native ecosystem and related tools.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Basic scripting capabilities (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Interest in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of microservice architectures, serverless computing, and DevOps best practices.
