Site Reliability Engineer – Observability, Internal Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take complete ownership of smartclip’s internal utility and platform tools.

• Direct your efforts towards the convergence of observability, automation, and developer infrastructure.

• Manage and enhance our observability stack, which includes Prometheus, Grafana, and Forgejo.

• Integrate security engineering within the delivery workflow.

• Navigate and utilize Linux systems alongside distributed tools.

• Be driven by systems thinking and possess a profound technical curiosity.

• Adopt an Observability Mindset: Develop a robust strategy for metrics, logs, and traces.

• Embrace Ownership: Practice the "you build it, you run it" philosophy.

• Nice-to-haves: Bring experience with GKE or EKS, along with Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform.

• Design and enhance production-grade environments on GCP or AWS.

• Showcase your contributions to open-source initiatives.

• Transform your enthusiasm for root-cause analysis into blameless post-mortems.
