This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for the design and construction of systems, tools, and processes that deliver a flexible, scalable, and observable platform.
• Enable development teams to take ownership of their complete application stack, reducing bottlenecks and enhancing development speed without sacrificing reliability.
• Play a supportive role in project development by advising software engineering teams on best practices that influence software engineering choices.
• Engage in security assessments, remediation efforts, and new implementations to maintain a top-tier security posture and compliance.
• Proven experience in an SRE role with a solid understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery.
• Significant experience in writing production-quality code.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code and/or configuration management (we utilize Terraform).
• Experience in managing monitoring dashboards using tools like Grafana and Prometheus to generate actionable alerts.
• Capability to ensure system operations align with internal SLIs and SLOs.
• Experience in refining CI/CD processes to ensure reliable and efficient deployment of new code to production.
• Ability to collaborate in the development of a robust monitoring platform for our services and their underlying infrastructure, focusing on symptom alerts rather than outages.
• Familiarity with best practices for creating and managing AWS resources (e.g., security groups, VPCs).
