This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, automate, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native platforms.

• Collaborate closely with Development, Platform Engineering, Security, and DevOps teams to guarantee reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence across production environments.

• Administer and enhance Kubernetes networking utilizing: Cilium, Istio, Service Mesh, and Kubernetes Ingress Controllers.

• Diagnose complex issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure and applications.

• Oversee services on Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, VPC Networking, IAM, Cloud Load Balancers, Cloud Storage, as well as Monitoring and Logging services.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of comprehensive infrastructure/platform engineering experience.

• 3–5+ years of practical Kubernetes production experience.

• Extensive experience in cloud-native platforms, observability, automation, and GitOps-driven operations.

• Proven experience managing large-scale Kubernetes platforms.

• Experience in supporting mission-critical production systems.

• Strong grasp of distributed systems concepts.

• Familiarity with cloud security best practices.

• Relevant certifications such as: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), Google Cloud Professional Certifications, and HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
