Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee, track, and sustain highly available systems (Windows and Linux).

• Evaluate metrics and trends to guarantee swift scalability.

• Manage routine service requests while discovering opportunities for automation and simplification.

• Develop infrastructure as code utilizing Terraform, ARM Templates, and Cloud Formation.

• Ensure data backups and establish disaster recovery plans.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions, Octopus, Ansible, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

• Uphold security best practices throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Adhere to and promote ITIL best practices and standards.

• Serve as a resource for both emerging and established cloud technologies, particularly focusing on AWS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an SRE or System Administration position.

• Proven expertise in building and maintaining high availability Windows/Linux servers, concentrating on the WISA stack (Windows/IIS/SQL Server/ASP.net).

• At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD tools.

• Over 3 years of experience working with cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Comfortable working with Scrum, Kanban, or Lean methodologies.

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
