Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who has a strong background in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, along with core CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and monitoring solutions including DataDog and AWS CloudWatch.

• Effective leadership in client-facing discussions and collaboration with third-party vendors is crucial.

• Diagnosing issues and pinpointing systemic shortcomings reflected by incidents or failures.

• Implementing necessary fixes.

• Suggesting improvements to minimize toil.

• Leading the Incident resolution process, which includes creating and maintaining documentation, as well as contributing to Post-mortem analysis.

• Enhancing Service Requests and Change Management processes, both from a technical standpoint and through stakeholder engagement.

• Engaging in the process to proactively mitigate risks within a Security management framework (addressing vulnerabilities in Code, Infrastructure, and Dependencies).

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-9 years of relevant experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field.

• SRE Foundation certificate (DevOps Institute) and an 'associate'-level certification from a Cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), or to be completed during the probation period.

• Proficient in Azure and Kubernetes, with practical experience in managing and deploying applications.

• Specialized knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform for effective and scalable infrastructure management.
