Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of intricate production incidents, guiding them from investigation to resolution.

• Oversee and sustain cloud infrastructure on both AWS and GCP platforms.

• Carry out deployments in staging and production environments, including significant high-impact releases.

• Manage infrastructure through code using Terraform.

• Implement security measures and assist with access reviews and security audits.

• Create operational documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members and promote best practices in incident response.

• Engage in on-call duties or escalation rotations as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, particularly in system and network administration.

• Proficient in Terraform and infrastructure provisioning techniques.

• Demonstrated experience in managing production deployments and resolving complex technical issues.

• Understanding of cloud security, user permissions, firewall configurations, and audit preparations.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, or PagerDuty.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills across various functions.

• Experience in mentoring or guiding junior team members.

• Preferred: familiarity with GCP, containerized applications, AWS Lambda, EC2, or ECS/EKS.

• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

• Preferred: experience with Twilio services.

• Preferred: AWS certifications or a background in CloudOps, DevOps, SRE, or production support.
