Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Concentrate on enhancing service reliability through automation.

• Minimize operational toil while implementing SLOs and error budgets.

• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to manage production operations.

• Establish, measure, and oversee SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.

• Evaluate system performance to boost reliability, resilience, and scalability.

• Conduct reliability assessments and work to prevent incidents.

• Develop and refine monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

• Apply distributed tracing techniques.

• Improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe deployments.

• Engage in on-call rotations and spearhead incident response efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or Platform Engineering.

• Proficient in programming or scripting.

• Practical experience with cloud technologies.

• Knowledge of distributed systems.

• Familiarity with observability tools.

• Understanding of chaos engineering and resilience patterns.
