This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Supervise fuel system RMMR operations within a designated geographic area under the USACE contract.
• Manage the daily functions of regional fuel facilities, ensuring compliance with Performance Work Statement requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate activities related to fuel maintenance sites.
• Collaborate with operational activities concerning deployments, exercises, logistical maneuvers, and other relevant activities.
• Prepare, update, and submit schedules, deficiency lists, recurring maintenance reports, and additional contract documentation.
• Create technical scopes of work for repair and modification Service Orders for DoD fuel facilities.
• Review repair specifications for equipment and components to ensure adherence to contractual and material specifications.
• Acquire materials necessary for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Develop cost estimates for Service Orders, logistics plans, and construction schedules.
• Coordinate field execution with RMMR Project Managers, USACE Project Managers and Engineers, and facility-level Quality Assurance Evaluators.
• Supervise and train personnel involved in fuel system maintenance.
• Orient new staff on company policies, job responsibilities, and site-specific regulations.
• Ensure that certifications, qualifications, and safety training are up-to-date.
• Maintain employee time records and submit them to payroll.
• Oversee workforce performance, accountability, training, feedback, and disciplinary matters.
• Execute other tasks as directed by management.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in liquid fuels maintenance or construction across various fuel systems.
• At least three years of experience in Site Management or Construction Management.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Database, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to upload daily/weekly field reports with images to cloud-based information management systems.
• Ability to utilize or learn QuickBase, eMaint, MaintainX, Timberland, and/or other scheduling and information software.
• Experience in operating equipment and using power tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Fluent in English, with strong reading and writing skills.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings, including federal background checks, MVR, and drug screenings.
• Compliance with the company’s drug and alcohol policy.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. or authorized by the start date.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with both internal and external clients.
• Capable of exercising judgment and implementing conflict-resolution strategies.
• Ability to work independently, stay self-motivated, and achieve timelines and objectives.
• Skilled in prioritizing workload and managing time efficiently.
• Ability to apply basic mathematics, including fractions and percentages, to real-world situations.
• Proficient in problem-solving and understanding basic accounting principles.
• Adaptable to changing circumstances.
• Ability to climb ladders, scaffolds, and stairs, and work in confined spaces near noisy equipment.
• Capable of regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to respond swiftly to sounds and hazardous situations.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment for most of the workday.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and utilize close, color, depth, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
• Reliable transportation, a current valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
• Capability to obtain basic security clearances for federal installations or secure facilities.
• OSHA 30 and/or HAZWOPER training is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Compensation ranging from $39/hr to $43/hr.
