Site Estimating Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Determine customer needs based on inquiries received.

• Organize and participate in site visits, ensuring compliance with ESH regulations.

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys, documenting all necessary conditions and information to create accurate quotations.

• Collaborate closely with the procurement team and engage with third-party suppliers to secure optimal pricing.

• Generate consistent and high-quality quotations that encompass all customer requirements, including product labor, documentation, CAD, manuals, and certifications.

• Ensure that all necessary documentation accompanies customer quotations.

• Comply with Xylem's pricing and commercial policies.

• Coordinate with technical teams to verify that the correct parts are identified for customers.

• Communicate with customers as necessary regarding any delays in quotes or to address their questions and concerns.

• Successfully transfer approved quotations to the regional Service team for complete delivery.

• Leverage Xylem data by reviewing engineer reports, customer service histories, and correspondence.

• Maintain accurate customer information and save all details in our internal system (Salesforce).

• Achieve personal targets and development objectives while contributing to team and department goals.

• The individual must adhere to the Company’s Policies, Procedures, and Code of Conduct.

• Identify issues to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement.

• Perform additional duties as needed, including supporting other service regions with scoping and quoting tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess experience and qualifications in site work within the Services sector.

• Background in mechanical/electrical pumping is essential.

• Familiarity with pumping control solutions and monitoring (Digital) is required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are vital, along with commercial awareness and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
