This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Collaborate with the Site Development and Vertical Construction teams as well as Engineering Services to establish timelines, objectives, and requirements.
• Assist with construction-related tasks, including resolving field issues with engineers, liaising with local authorities for site inspections or modifications, and maintaining relevant documentation.
• Comprehend and coordinate technical documents pertinent to construction, including current drawings, shop drawings, approved documents, photographs, inspection reports, submittals, code requirements, and as-built drawings, while integrating them into relevant software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Organize and manage meetings related to construction milestones, such as pre-construction meetings, site development kick-off sessions, and progress meetings.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure timely project completion, including engineers, designers, surveyors, contractors, subcontractors, and local jurisdiction site inspectors and reviewers.
• Monitor all projects in Development and compile data to communicate and report findings in an organized fashion.
• Track the status of all water meters (temporary, permanent, and irrigation) to ensure their operational status and closure when necessary.
• Coordinate and track foundation surveys, storm and utility as-built surveys, and as-built ALTA surveys throughout the construction phase of all projects.
• Attend pre-construction meetings as required, conduct initial BMP inspections as needed, and coordinate the initial setup of NPDES/SWPPP monitoring.
• Support the site development contractor in addressing any construction-related issues that may emerge during projects.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Development Services.
• Engage in the continuous improvement of Development Services Teams and Company practices that align with our mission statement.
• A Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, technical training, or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• More than 5 years of experience in construction, civil engineering, surveying, and/or land development.
• Professional Engineering Licensure is preferred but not essential.
• Proficient in essential communication software, including Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam.
• Familiarity with relevant construction software, such as AutoDesk or BIM360, is preferred but not a requirement.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
