This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Oversee the negotiation of clinical study agreements (CTAs) at the study level while driving the finalization and execution of documents.
• Provide supervision on the status of contract and budget negotiations and manage the escalation of any out-of-parameter inquiries.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for CTA components for both internal and sponsor stakeholders.
• Offer guidance to stakeholders on issue resolution pertaining to assigned studies.
• Develop a strategy for contract execution and project site-specific contractual timelines.
• Collaborate with internal study team stakeholders to ensure CTA strategies align with study start-up plans.
• Set expectations regarding global CTA negotiations.
• Facilitate communication between study stakeholders and global site contract and budget negotiators.
• Participate in regular study calls as necessary.
• Prepare site contractual templates, payment conditions, negotiation parameters, and processes at the study level.
• Foster working relationships with the Sponsor to ensure site contractual templates align with the global program strategy.
• Create and maintain document status reports and update department tools, systems, and team members accordingly.
• Ensure that proper documentation is maintained consistently.
• Work collaboratively with legal, finance, and clinical operations departments.
• Communicate and clarify legal and budgetary concerns.
• Manage discussions concerning fair market value for investigator budgets and payment terms.
• Support business units and the organization through help desk services and other defined pathways.
• Perform additional work-related duties as assigned.
• Experience, skills, and/or education that are equivalent to the required qualifications will be considered.
• Capability to oversee the negotiation of clinical study agreements and finalize contracts.
• Familiarity with contractual language, terms, financial attachments, and investigator grant budgets.
• Ability to manage global site contract and budget negotiators effectively.
• Proficiency in handling escalations involving contractual and budgetary requests.
• Ability to plan strategies and timelines for study-level contract execution.
• Capability to coordinate with internal study teams and sponsor stakeholders.
• Knowledge of payment terms, fair market value, and investigator budgets.
• Proficient in collaborating with legal, finance, and clinical operations departments.
• Minimal travel may be required, up to 25%.
