Site Civil Manager – Fluent German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the civil team at the construction site (a small group of 4–5 members, including subcontractors and in-house personnel)

• Coordinate the planning and preparation of work for each phase of construction in collaboration with the engineering and project teams

• Supervise and manage on-site construction activities to ensure adherence to public law regulations and the designer's specifications

• Guarantee compliance with occupational safety standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints

• Conduct quality control and verify alignment between execution and planning, including documentation

• Address defect notifications and manage non-conformance reports

• Detect and communicate discrepancies as well as potential variations or change orders

• Attend and document site meetings and acceptance inspections

• Keep a detailed site diary regarding construction activities

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture, or an equivalent qualification

• Several years of professional experience in construction and project management, preferably in civil or infrastructure projects

• Proven experience in technical leadership and supervision of a site team

• Experience with substations is considered an advantage

• Demonstrated assertiveness and resilience while managing complex infrastructure projects

• Knowledge or experience in electrical engineering is a plus

• Proficiency in both German and English
