Site Budget & Contracting Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the SB&C function at the country level, focusing on the development, negotiation, administration, and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements and budgets.

• Oversee the setup of the assigned country budget, including the development of relevant parameters.

• Collaborate with the Study Start-up Managers, SB&C team, Clinical Operations teams, and TAU partners to enhance overall SB&C metrics and implement efficient processes.

• Ensure adherence to standards within SB&C processes across project portfolios and support continuous improvement initiatives while refining the process.

• Work alongside Study Startup, the SB&C team, and Clinical Operations teams as a point of escalation for global budget issues that fall outside of budget parameters.

• Utilize leading industry tools and data sources to provide budget and contract insights that align with Takeda's parameters and fair market value guidelines.

• Swiftly identify and address potential delays, offering solutions to resolve issues and escalate non-performance as necessary.

• Oversee the timelines for negotiating site contracts and budgets to guarantee that sites are "Ready To Enroll" according to the Startup Project Plan.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent international qualification.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical research site contracting and budgeting.

• At least 2 years of experience in overseeing site budgeting and contracting is essential.

• Ability to interpret data and facilitate decision-making processes that are driven by data insights.

• Proficiency in the principles that govern country/site budgeting and contracting strategies.

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.

• Proficient communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and the local language spoken at your workplace.
