Site Billing Specialist – CPC, CCS, RHIT or RHIA Certification

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Ensures compliance with productivity and accuracy metrics in line with departmental expectations and AEIOU Behavioral Standards.

• Extracts data from medical records to guarantee correct coding of diagnoses and procedures, including relevant modifiers.

• Analyzes insurance denials and rejections to identify the next appropriate actions.

• Updates and verifies essential information necessary for the processing of claims to insurance providers.

• Gathers all required information to finalize the billing process, including data from providers, ancillary services staff, and patients.

• Upholds satisfactory productivity rates and ensures timely claims reimbursement.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent knowledge is preferred.

• A minimum of two to three years of billing experience in a physician practice.

• Previous coding experience with CPC, CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification is preferred.

• Proficient in advanced computer skills, including Windows-based applications.
