This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Act as the main point of responsibility for site activation and start-up processes for designated studies.
• Supervise cross-functional site activation efforts to ensure that milestones are met punctually and within budget constraints.
• Oversee the precise tracking, analysis, and reporting of site activation progress and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with project teams to assist with feasibility assessments, site qualification, selection, and regulatory procedures as necessary.
• Relay site activation updates, risks, and mitigation strategies to sponsors, project leaders, and internal teams.
• Create and sustain site activation project plans while supporting risk assessments and issue resolution.
• Ensure that site activation tasks are properly budgeted, with any out-of-scope work monitored and managed through change control processes.
• Promote continuous improvement through the development of SOPs, best practices, metrics, and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in business development efforts, including the creation of proposals and support for bid defenses.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, escalating issues as necessary to guarantee timely delivery.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, ICH GCP, and relevant regulatory standards.
• A bachelor's degree or nursing degree is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of experience in a CRO environment focused on Study Start-Up, including experience as a country lead or manager.
• Skilled in cross-cultural communication.
• Proficient in both verbal and written English.
