This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +30 more states.
• Develop, test, and validate mathematical models, numerical algorithms, prototypes, simulations, data analysis, and data synthesis.
• Acquire knowledge and engage with various data types, including raw and derived data from GNSS receivers, communication systems, radio frequency systems, and other space and ground-based sensing modalities, along with any associated data formats.
• Contribute to the shaping and enhancement of both new and existing products.
• Provide subject matter expertise to capture teams during the review and assessment of funding opportunities, as well as throughout the bidding and proposal process.
• Assist with product demonstrations, business development, customer engagement, and outreach functions for the company.
• Author or co-author different types of internal and external reports, presentations, and documents, including journal articles and conference papers.
• Attend industry events to showcase your work and establish connections with industry leaders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which will constitute less than 10% of the responsibilities outlined above.
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances.
• A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree in similar fields with 4+ years of experience in signal processing.
• Experience in signal processing for GNSS, Radar, RF, or other systems related to space-based or supporting ground segment operations.
• Familiarity with statistical methods for signal and data processing.
• Proven experience in modeling and simulation.
• Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (Python, Java, Kotlin, C++).
• Experience with software version control systems (e.g., git).
• Strong verbal communication and technical writing abilities.
• Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced startup environment.
