This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and sustain custom Shopify and Shopify Plus themes utilizing Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Create and support Shopify applications, custom features, and back-end services using Node.js, Remix, Shopify APIs, and Webhooks.
• Collaborate with designers to transform mockups into responsive, high-quality Shopify experiences.
• Tailor Shopify storefronts, product pages, collection pages, carts, customer accounts, and checkout-adjacent experiences.
• Connect Shopify with external platforms including ERP, OMS, inventory, loyalty, tax, payments, subscriptions, fraud, and fulfillment systems.
• Utilize Shopify Admin GraphQL API, Storefront API, REST APIs, App Bridge, and Polaris.
• Enhance Shopify stores for performance, SEO, accessibility, user experience, and conversion rates.
• Diagnose and resolve front-end, back-end, API, integration, and production issues.
• Test and deploy features while ensuring quality, scalability, and adherence to project specifications.
• Work alongside project managers, QA, architects, and client teams to convert business needs into technical deliverables.
• Keep updated with Shopify ecosystem developments, including Shopify Plus, Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions, Hydrogen, and POS features.
• Assist with Shopify POS-related tasks when necessary, including POS UI Extensions, retail workflows, and in-store integrations.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify or Shopify Plus development.
• Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Developer with an emphasis on Shopify theme and app development.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, theme architecture, sections, blocks, templates, metafields, and metaobjects.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and contemporary front-end development practices.
• Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Remix, or comparable back-end frameworks.
• Understanding of Shopify Admin GraphQL API, Storefront API, REST APIs, Webhooks, App Bridge, and Polaris.
• Experience in integrating Shopify with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
• A solid grasp of ecommerce best practices, including SEO, performance optimization, accessibility, UX, and CRO.
• Proficient in Git, version control, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
