Full Stack Developer, Shopify

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create custom Shopify themes and functionalities from the ground up, ensuring responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and optimal site performance.

• Integrate third-party Shopify applications and solutions to enhance the functionality of the store.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.

• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to convert UI/UX designs into visually appealing and responsive websites.

• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing Shopify sites while identifying opportunities for optimization.

• Oversee backend tasks such as product catalog updates, customer data integrations, payment gateway configurations, and other custom solutions.

• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, SEO, and conversion rates.

• Carry out thorough QA and testing processes prior to deployment.

• Keep abreast of new Shopify trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively recommend enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in developing Shopify websites.

• Expertise in Liquid templating language, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Shopify API integrations and custom application development.

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development.

• Understanding of version control systems (Git) and knowledge of modern development workflows.

• Strong grasp of website optimization strategies, SEO best practices, and analytics.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
