This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a portfolio of Shipboard Missile programs throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the SBM team and cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals.
• Lead competitive and intricate sole-source captures.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with customers, partners, teammates, and industry associations.
• Evaluate customer priorities, stakeholders, budgets, and key issues to formulate winning strategies.
• Provide updates on progress, rationalize investments, and align efforts with business priorities.
• Create customer-centric win strategies and capture products, including competition evaluations, teaming approaches, PTW analysis, win themes, and value propositions.
• Formulate and implement capture plans featuring customer mapping, engagement strategies, POA&Ms, and success metrics.
• Direct capture strategy and execution through the Pursuit-to-Startup Phase using the RLPM framework and gating process.
• Assemble and lead multidisciplinary capture teams across Raytheon SBUs, functional areas, and external partners.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for investment funding while maximizing Probability of Win and affordability.
• Facilitate Black Hat reviews, Win Strategy Workshops, Color Team reviews, and independent evaluations.
• Engage with customers to shape requirements and influence acquisition strategies.
• Advocate for the delivery of compliant and compelling proposals.
• Aid in proposal development by drafting technical, management, and executive documents and contributing to pricing strategies.
• Conduct assessments of competitive intelligence and risks.
• Update senior leadership on capture progress, investments, risks, and strategic positioning.
• Work in conjunction with RTX Global Government Relations on public policy and technology advocacy.
• Ensure accurate capture data is maintained in the Enterprise Raytheon Pipeline Manager CRM tool.
• Travel domestically up to 50%.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with at least 14 years of prior experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 12 years’ experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a capture manager or acquisition professional utilizing defense industry capture and proposal processes for U.S. customers.
• Proven experience as a key contributor in competitive and sole-source captures or acquisitions/solicitations exceeding $500M.
• Intermediate Capture Management Certification or equivalent, including USG/DoD PM/acquisition certifications.
• Experience in customer engagement, DoD acquisition processes, strategy development, resource planning, strategic recommendations, business case analysis, and executive briefings.
• Over 10 years of experience communicating and presenting to senior customers, business unit executives, and supply base executives.
• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is required before the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories.
