Ship Application Support Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Carry out all assigned responsibilities related to the installation, configuration, and setup of applications for the New Ship.

• Support user training during the rollout and conclusion of the Equipping phase for the new ship.

• Work autonomously with members of the user community to identify and document requirements for the installation, implementation, and daily operations of the applications.

• Compose and update documentation, including configurations, specifications, and designs for both new and existing applications.

• Ensure that the product direction aligns with Mercy Ships' intended enterprise architecture.

• Collaborate with project management teams in the execution of the new ship build.

• Provide status updates as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least one year of relevant work experience, including experience in product or software administration.

• Experience with the specific product or other relevant technology platforms is preferred.

• Must be able to travel internationally with a valid passport.

• All visitors to a vessel in field service must be current and compliant with approved medical requirements.
