SharePoint Platform Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, design, and governance of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 enterprise platforms.

• Create and implement AI-driven knowledge management, enterprise search, and productivity solutions utilizing SharePoint Agents, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search.

• Aid in the development of tailored AI solutions employing RAG frameworks, vector search technologies, and enterprise content repositories.

• Connect SharePoint with Azure services, including Azure Functions, ADLS Gen2, Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault, and other Azure-native components.

• Work alongside analytics teams to facilitate reporting and insights via Power BI and enterprise data platforms.

• Establish and oversee SharePoint governance models, encompassing user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), permissions, and compliance standards.

• Implement and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) B2B collaboration, guest access management, and identity governance frameworks.

• Design and sustain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for automated SharePoint site provisioning, custom schema deployments, SPFx solutions, and platform releases.

• Utilize LaunchDarkly (or similar feature management platforms) to enable controlled feature rollouts, experimentation, and release management.

• Deliver technical leadership, set architectural standards and best practices, and mentor development and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in SharePoint architecture and Microsoft technologies.

• Extensive hands-on expertise in: SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint Agents, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), LaunchDarkly or similar feature flag management solutions, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Azure AD B2B, RBAC, and Identity Governance.

• Familiarity with: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and RAG-based AI implementation, Azure Functions, ADLS Gen2, Logic Apps, API Management, and Key Vault, Power BI integration, and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, solution architecture, governance, and communication.
