This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide clients through transformations in business, operations, and technology within the Financial Services and Health and Life Sciences sectors.
• Build and manage executive relationships with customers while delivering transformative initiatives.
• Oversee the adoption and utilization of Salesforce technology, customer relations, CSAT, and service delivery processes.
• Engage in pursuit activities for large-scale contracts, encompassing pitch presentations, scope and team definitions, pricing, and contract negotiations.
• Optimize technical architectures to align business needs with technical capabilities.
• Create and lead customer adoption strategies in collaboration with Sales, Success, Technology, Products, TMP, and Support teams.
• Direct the solution and technical architecture for complex and large-scale clients.
• Act as a billable lead architect during the discovery and development phases.
• Identify and address architectural risks associated with projects.
• Lead the architecture and design of intricate Salesforce projects.
• Offer architectural guidance to developers, administrators, business partners, and project teams.
• Counsel clients on enterprise architecture and the role of Salesforce within it.
• Create roadmaps and strategic advice that align with business goals and technical solutions.
• Evaluate requirements and analyze solution feasibility.
• Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks for both Salesforce and its customers.
• Mentor and develop members of the Professional Services team, enhancing their consulting, industry, product, competency, and leadership skills.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
• Monitor Salesforce advancements and trends, bringing innovative insights to clients.
• Establish internal processes, artifacts, and methodologies for effective customer service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with approved methodologies.
• Promote and drive solution perspectives across teams within regulated industries.
• Assist product teams in the development of industry-specific solutions for regulated sectors.
• Foster an architecture community and advocate for best practices.
• Facilitate architecture-community enablement that meets customer needs and leverages cross-cloud platform expertise.
• Over 10 years of experience in leading enterprise-level technology transformation initiatives with Fortune 500 companies.
• More than 10 years of relevant professional-services consulting experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in leading, managing, coaching, and developing team members.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience with cloud and cloud-based technologies.
• At least 5 years of experience in Financial Services or Healthcare and Life Sciences.
• 8+ years of experience with data architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in system-to-system integration, distributed architectures, and event-driven architecture utilizing common ESB platforms like MuleSoft.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect status is desired or in progress towards achieving CTA.
• Proven ability to understand and address customers’ critical business challenges.
• Familiarity with system development, implementation, and operational-readiness concepts, practices, procedures, and deliverables.
• Solution-oriented mindset for developing comprehensive operational plans and resolving technical issues.
• Extensive experience managing C-suite customer relationships, particularly with technology and architecture leaders.
• Experience participating in pursuit teams and developing proposals.
• Exceptional executive-level written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
• Significant experience with security, compliance, scalable architectures, and highly available applications.
• Knowledge of DevOps and observability principles.
• Extensive experience in strategic roadmap planning with customer executives.
• Familiarity with Design Thinking and human-centered change methodologies.
