ServiceNow Technical Consultant – ITOM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Set up ServiceNow ITOM to identify and catalog IT assets, including computers, switches, servers, and applications within clients' networks;

• Streamline configuration management and the CMDB through ServiceNow ITOM and ITSM;

• Install and set up IT monitoring utilizing ServiceNow ITOM;

• Adapt ServiceNow ITOM for cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI;

• Integrate ServiceNow AIOps with various solutions like Zabbix, Dynatrace, Datadog, Netcool, TrueSight, SolarWinds, SCCM, SCOM, and more;

• Automate workloads and workflows in both traditional and cloud environments using communication protocols including SSH, PowerShell, JDBC, and APIs (REST/SOAP/others);

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in configuring at least one management solution from the following: Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, SCOM, SCCM, Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, Netcool, TrueSight, Nimsoft, UIM, Tivoli, TADDM, ADDM, or BMC Discovery.

• Strong understanding of traditional IT infrastructure and cloud environments.

• Familiarity with at least one container deployment technology, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Knowledge of various integration architectures and protocols for system and platform connectivity.

• Experience engaging in IT or cloud infrastructure automation projects and activities.

• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, including JavaScript, Perl, Python, PowerShell, or Shell Script.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.

• Fluent English is preferred for international projects.

• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.

• Previous experience with ServiceNow ITOM is preferred.

• Familiarity with event centralization/management solutions like Netcool Omnibus, Splunk, BMC TrueSight, or similar is preferred.

• Experience with log centralization or streaming solutions such as Elastic Stack, Graylog, Splunk, or Kafka is preferred.

• Prior experience with automation or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions like Terraform, Ansible, Salt, SUSE Manager, Chef, or Puppet is preferred.
