ServiceNow Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design and configure ServiceNow applications utilizing CMDB modules.

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to collect requirements and develop solutions.

• Execute data analysis, integration, and migration tasks within ServiceNow.

• Tailor ServiceNow catalog features, workflows, functionalities, and asset management capabilities.

• Connect ServiceNow asset management with the client’s existing software solutions.

• Generate catalog items and modify workflows as needed.

• Carry out system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging processes.

• Offer technical support and maintenance for ServiceNow deployments.

• Keep abreast of ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry developments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree along with 2–5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and configuration; four additional years of experience may replace a degree.

• Must possess or be capable of obtaining ServiceNow CIS in SPM, Data Foundations, DISC, SAM, or HAM.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance is necessary.

• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide Script, and PowerShell.

• Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM frameworks.

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.

• Knowledge of Jira Service Management is preferred.

• Understanding of ServiceNow App Engine Studio.

• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, catalog items, workflows, and asset management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

• Preferred: Experience in ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, CMDB, IT asset management, and software license management.
