ServiceNow ITOM Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and execute ServiceNow ITOM solutions customized to meet business requirements.

• Configure and uphold Discovery workflows to guarantee precise and current asset information within the CMDB.

• Develop and oversee event management rules and correlation policies to minimize noise and enhance incident response.

• Establish and maintain integrations between ServiceNow ITOM and external systems utilizing REST/SOAP APIs and various integration tools.

• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges across ITOM modules in both production and non-production settings.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and provide scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Document technical designs, configurations, and system behaviors for knowledge sharing and future improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-8 years of practical experience in ServiceNow ITOM development.

• Demonstrated proficiency in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, and IntegrationHub.

• Strong grasp of ITIL principles and their application within ServiceNow.

• Experience with scripting in JavaScript (both Server and Client) and familiarity with ServiceNow’s application development framework.

• Expertise in REST/SOAP web services and integration methodologies.

• Knowledge of database design and performance enhancement within ServiceNow.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is highly preferred.
