ServiceNow Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems.

• Leverage ServiceNow integration technologies including REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Servers, Integration Hub (Spokes, Flows), JDBC/ODBC Connections, and Email Integration.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect integration requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, encompassing integration designs, data mappings, and test plans.

• Conduct comprehensive testing of integrations to ensure data accuracy and functionality.

• Diagnose and resolve integration issues promptly.

• Monitor integration performance and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement.

• Keep abreast of the latest ServiceNow features and best practices in integration.

• Engage in code reviews and help establish coding standards.

• Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers to implement custom solutions and improvements.

• Contribute to the architectural and design framework of the ServiceNow platform.

• Automate manual processes utilizing ServiceNow workflows and integrations.

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience (a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field may substitute for 5 years of this experience).

• At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development and integration.

• Strong comprehension of ServiceNow platform architecture and functionalities.

• Proficient in REST and SOAP APIs.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.

• Experience in data mapping and transformation.

• Expertise in ServiceNow MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of Integration Hub and ServiceNow Flow Designer.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

• Experience in integrating with tools and resources for hardware and/or software asset management.
