This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, setup, development, and deployment of ServiceNow-based enterprise solutions that facilitate IT Service Management (ITSM), case management, workflow automation, and digital service delivery.

• Guarantees the delivery of scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that align with the customer’s enterprise architecture, cybersecurity standards, and business goals.

• Offers technical expertise throughout the entire project lifecycle, including platform configuration and customization, integrations, data migration, alignment with DevSecOps, IAM integration, testing, deployment, and environment management.

• Aids in proof-of-concept initiatives, assesses technical alternatives, mitigates implementation risks, and ensures compliance with ServiceNow best practices, governance standards, and change management procedures.

• Works closely with business and technical stakeholders to guarantee solution quality, optimize performance, and ensure long-term platform sustainability.

• Tasked with designing comprehensive technical solutions to fulfill project objectives and ensuring that individual software projects align with the overarching business strategy and technology standards.

• Provides recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions, as well as conducts design, debugging, and performance analysis on solutions.

• Documents and shares best practice knowledge for new solutions while advocating for process improvements and offering technical leadership to a team throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develops proof-of-concept projects to validate proposed solutions and reviews and validates solution designs from other team members.

• Collaborates closely with development teams to oversee the implementation of solutions.

• Assesses project constraints to identify alternatives, mitigate risks, and potentially re-engineer processes.

• Serves as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Prepares detailed specifications for application builds.

• Assists with the creation and grooming of user stories.

• Responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and generating technical documentation.

• Holds technical knowledge and accountability for all phases of application systems analysis and programming.

• Understands the business or function for which the application is intended.

• Instructs, directs, and reviews the work of other technical team members.

• Skilled in developing front-end portals and back-end console development.

• Proficient with programming languages and databases including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.

• Experienced in building scoped applications.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of overall IT experience with substantial ServiceNow implementation and engineering expertise.

• Experience in IT application systems within technology solution delivery.

• Familiarity with platform customization in relevant delivery platforms.

• Background in custom application development, including the creation of Custom Service Portal widgets.

• Experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.

• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS.

• Capable of leading and mentoring Junior ServiceNow team members.

• Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Knowledgeable about Section 508 compliance.

• Ability to support customers during EST hours.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Eligible to obtain and maintain an HHS Public Trust.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirements.
