This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +14 more states.
• Design, develop, configure, and implement tailored applications and solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Create and set up scoped applications, Service Catalog items, Flow Designer workflows, and other platform-based solutions that meet client requirements.
• Assist in the design and development of locally developed applications (LDAs) by adhering to ServiceNow development best practices.
• Oversee and facilitate integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, ensuring dependable data exchange and platform functionality.
• Aid in the transition of ServiceNow components, collections, and deployable assets through CI/CD pipelines and across various development environments.
• Collaborate closely with ServiceNow architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to align business requirements and services with suitable ServiceNow capabilities.
• Engage in code reviews, proofs of concept, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
• Conduct troubleshooting, coding, scripting, and ServiceNow configuration tasks of moderate to high complexity.
• Offer guidance and mentorship to citizen developers and other team members operating within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• Assist in the administration, deployment, and management of USCIS systems and PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS platforms as necessary using authorized privileged access.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• A minimum of one current ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.
• Practical experience in designing, developing, configuring, and deploying ServiceNow applications and platform solutions.
• Proven experience in developing and supporting ServiceNow integrations with external systems.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM capabilities and scoped application development.
• Experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment procedures within a ServiceNow environment.
• Strong scripting and development skills, particularly with JavaScript and related ServiceNow development technologies.
