ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in converting intricate business requirements into technical designs and solutions utilizing ServiceNow.

• Oversee the creation of ServiceNow applications, ensuring they align with business goals and adhere to best practices.

• Offer technical expertise and support to fellow ServiceNow developers.

• Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications to meet user needs.

• Keep up-to-date with ServiceNow products, features, and industry developments to foster innovation.

• Perform technical evaluations and provide suggestions for improving current ServiceNow implementations.

• Review functionalities produced by the ServiceNow development team and conduct unit, system, and integration testing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

• Assist in creating detailed technical and functional documentation.

• Demonstrate developed applications to product owners and end users.

• Engage in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration tasks.

• Guarantee the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates are required to secure approved adjudication of clearance before joining Guidehouse.

• A minimum of FOUR (4) years of professional experience is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred (fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business).

• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls is essential.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.

• Proficiency in ServiceNow Modules like GRC, SPM, and ITSM, along with App Engine and Scoped Apps.

• Experience in web services integration, particularly with Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, is preferred.

• Extensive experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

• Background in working within an Agile environment is desirable.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain rapport with a diverse range of individuals at all levels are required.
