ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and resolve intricate technical data and transformation challenges.

• Gather and analyze business requirements to recommend sustainable ServiceNow solutions.

• Provide answers to “how to” technical and application configuration inquiries.

• Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operations align with performance benchmarks.

• Create and uphold documentation for system design and operations.

• Work autonomously while also collaborating as a member of a global team.

• Identify and pursue opportunities, sharing innovative ideas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with the ServiceNow SDK (NOW SDK), including local application setup, metadata transformation, and deploying scoped applications from a local IDE like VS Code.

• Proficient in ServiceNow Fluent for defining application metadata through coding.

• Experience with server-side JavaScript modules and third-party libraries.

• Familiarity with Now Assist for Creator or similar generative AI developer tools.

• Direct experience with incident, problem, change, knowledge, service catalog, service level management, workflows, and email notifications.

• Solid understanding of core ServiceNow platform features, Flow Designer, ACLs, server-side APIs, and client-side APIs.

• Good knowledge of ATF, reports, dashboards, import sets, transformations, update sets, system cloning, and upgrades.

• Direct experience in developing custom scoped applications.

• Knowledge of Java, J2EE, Servlet, JSP, XML, AJAX, SQL, jQuery, JavaScript, and web-based development tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of ITSM and CSM modules, Event Management, Integrations, and Orchestration.

• Hands-on experience working with REST APIs.

• Understanding of MID Server configuration, CMDB, discovery, and asset management.

• Knowledge and experience in debugging and troubleshooting within ServiceNow.

• Proven ability to deliver assignments under tight deadlines.

• Capability to work independently as well as part of a global team.

• Strong problem analysis and analytical skills, including the application of mathematical concepts to validate results.

• Ability to gather, organize, disseminate, and present substantial amounts of information with attention to detail.

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in managing and prioritizing tasks effectively with minimal supervision.

• Ability to convey technical and functional aspects of issues to senior stakeholders.

• ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (evaluation required).

• For foreigners residing in Mexico, valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC are required.
