This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define the strategic architectural vision, long-term strategy, and roadmap for ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management.
• Lead the development of scalable and secure Hardware Asset Management (HAM) solutions that encompass planning, procurement, receiving, inventory, deployment, usage, maintenance, refresh, and disposal.
• Convert the business requirements of Finance, Procurement, Operations, and IT into architectural designs and technical specifications.
• Act as the subject matter expert and principal architect for the ServiceNow HAM module.
• Design the hardware asset Configuration Management Database (CMDB), focusing on data integrity, relationships, normalization, reconciliation, and discovery strategies.
• Create and implement automated HAM workflows utilizing Service Catalog, Flow Designer, and custom modules.
• Design and manage integrations between ServiceNow HAM, enterprise systems, discovery tools, and asset inventory systems.
• Establish standards for data quality, governance frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
• Architect the tracking mechanisms for hardware costs, depreciation, leases, contracts, and total cost of ownership.
• Automate financial processes and reporting related to assets.
• Develop strategies for hardware utilization, lifecycle optimization, and refresh planning.
• Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and oversight to developers, administrators, and implementation partners.
• Lead technical design reviews.
• Collaborate with leaders in Procurement, Operations, IT, and Compliance to gather requirements, build consensus, and promote adoption.
• Keep track of ServiceNow HAM features, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and recommend innovations.
• Full-time remote position.
• Active DoD secret clearance is required.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience; a Bachelor's Degree in a related field can substitute for 5 years of experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive IT experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a ServiceNow Architect role.
• In-depth, demonstrable expertise with the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module.
• Extensive hands-on and architectural experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery for hardware assets.
• Experience in designing and implementing complex integrations for ServiceNow HAM.
• Thorough understanding of the complete hardware asset lifecycle.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow, including Flow Designer, Service Portal, Custom Application Development, JavaScript scripting, and platform best practices.
• Strong grasp of ITIL principles as they pertain to asset management.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Active secret clearance.
• ServiceNow CIS-HAM certification is highly advantageous.
• Other relevant CIS certifications such as ServiceNow CSA are desired.
• Experience with ServiceNow SAM, ISO 55000, mobile asset management, financial asset-management concepts, and government contracting is preferred.
