This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Establish and execute ServiceNow architecture standards that align with client business goals, IT strategy, platform standards, and long-term technical guidelines.
• Design, develop, and configure functionalities across ITSM, ITOM, scoped applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, integrations, and custom development.
• Assist with ATO activities, patch management, upgrades, environment cloning, MID Server management, performance optimization, and resolution of production issues.
• Evaluate current applications and platform capabilities to discover opportunities for optimization, automation, reducing technical debt, and enhancing user experience.
• Suggest and document practical solutions by leveraging ServiceNow capabilities, client usage patterns, product entitlements, and federal program priorities.
• Provide solutions that encompass out-of-the-box features, custom applications, integrations, and scoped app development.
• Work collaboratively with product owners, business analysts, developers, client stakeholders, and technical teams to transform business requirements into scalable, standards-compliant solutions.
• Assist in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, solution discussions, and other Agile or SAFe ceremonies.
• Perform code reviews, advocate for development standards, and ensure that implementations are maintainable and in accordance with ServiceNow best practices.
• Develop architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, workflow designs, data models, integration strategies, implementation guidance, and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Confirm that configurations and customizations comply with federal security, compliance, accessibility, and operational requirements.
• Share subject matter expertise in proposals, solution development, technical demonstrations, communities of practice, and reusable delivery assets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, implementation, or architecture, including ITSM, ITOM, and scoped applications.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder is required due to federal contract regulations.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be conducted within the U.S.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM, App Engine, or custom application development is preferred.
• Strong grasp of ServiceNow architecture, platform administration, workflows, integrations, data models, and security controls is preferred.
• Experience with Service Portal/Employee Center is preferred.
• Familiarity with designing or supporting ServiceNow integrations with third-party systems and enterprise platforms is preferred.
• ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist, or Certified Technical Architect are preferred.
• Experience working in Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps-aligned teams, along with technical documentation, testing support, and production troubleshooting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Now Assist, Generative AI, Agentic AI, virtual agents, intelligent automation, predictive insights, or other AI-enabled ServiceNow functionalities is preferred.
• Experience supporting U.S. federal government programs or federal clients is preferred.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adjust focus as client, contract, or delivery demands evolve.
• Capacity to build consensus among stakeholders, technical teams, product owners, leadership, and client representatives.
• Experience in demonstrating solutions, briefing leadership, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
