ServiceNow Architect, Team Lead – SPM, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee and guide the GCC (Global Capability Center) team, ensuring successful delivery, collaboration, and alignment with organizational goals.

• Offer technical direction by evaluating complex requirements, addressing technical obstacles, and proposing ideal solutions (Out-of-the-Box vs. custom development).

• Set and uphold development best practices, coding standards, and platform governance throughout the team.

• Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills, productivity, and overall performance.

• Question existing processes and methodologies to promote continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.

• Actively engage in development tasks by contributing to user stories or features as necessary.

• Lead improvements in CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency, reliability, and release quality.

• Design and implement automated testing methodologies to guarantee high-quality delivery of features and user stories, primarily within the SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• At least 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, having held an architect or technical lead position.

• Familiarity with the SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) module.

• Over 5 years of development experience, demonstrating strong proficiency in JavaScript within the ServiceNow platform and familiarity with Python for automation and scripting.

• More than 5 years of experience utilizing DevOps tools and practices in an Agile delivery setting (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

• 5+ years of experience in people management, which includes leading technical teams, mentoring developers, performance management, and ensuring team delivery.

• Proven enthusiasm for learning about network technologies and operational processes.

• Strong professional discipline, showcasing consistency, punctuality, and reliability in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to collaborate daily with cross-functional teams.

• A proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a strong desire to comprehend business context and continuously enhance solutions.
