ServiceNow Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Taking independent charge of the design and development of ServiceNow solutions

• Providing guidance and support to clients in the implementation and utilization of ServiceNow

• Consulting clients on software architecture as well as current development trends

• Creating and building innovative solutions aimed at digital transformation and automation

• Continuously assessing and analyzing technological advancements, particularly in the realms of enterprise architecture and enterprise workflows

• Offering technical support during project acquisition and in fostering customer relationships

• Executing implementations and delivering proposed solutions within the client environment

• Independently managing, executing, and tracking the projects for which you are responsible

• Developing and presenting technical standards and proposals tailored to specific target audiences

• Taking ownership of topics and further enhancing our portfolio related to ServiceNow

• Building and expanding a team of up to 10 employees while overseeing nearshore and offshore delivery units

• Providing technical leadership and coaching to project teams, both internal and external at client locations

• Playing a pivotal role in implementation projects and proposal preparation, including pre-sales activities

• Serving as a trusted advisor and knowledge resource for both employees and clients

• Delivering training programs that encompass advanced technical, professional, and personal development content for our internal staff

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics, a completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist, or an equivalent qualification

• Proficient in German and English (C1 or higher), in both written and spoken forms

• A minimum of 5 years of full-time professional experience, with several years in technical leadership positions preferred

• Experience in preparing cost estimates and managing customer proposals

• Several years of experience in software development

• Background as a project manager with multidisciplinary Scrum or DevOps teams

• Extensive experience in IT service management and project management

• Strong understanding of current architectural trends and standard development processes

• Industry experience preferred in automotive, insurance, or banking sectors

• At least 5 years of customer-facing experience in planning and implementing enterprise architecture, ideally with ServiceNow

• Ideally certified as an ITIL® Expert, Prince2® Practitioner, and possessing at least 3 ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS-ITSM (Professional), CIS-RC, CIS-PPM, CIS-APM, or CAD)
