This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Overseeing the configuration capabilities of the ServiceNow platform to ensure alignment with IT best practices.
• Managing platform upgrades and code migrations through update sets.
• Configuring and administering the user interface of the ServiceNow platform, including screen elements, workflows, mobile interfaces, plugins, and branding.
• Handling lists, filters, forms, platform interfaces (to other data sources), and managing the data contained within tables, import sets, and the CMDB.
• Administering ServiceNow users, groups, user criteria, and managing various roles.
• Collaborating with the Service Management Office Team to develop, build, test, deploy, and update items in the Service Catalogue and related items in the Self-Service Portal.
• Configuring and maintaining application security protocols.
• Engaging in development work on stories for enhancements and project implementations across platform modules.
• Conducting code reviews of the work produced by other developers.
• Assisting in monitoring and enhancing platform health.
• Administering ServiceNow applications, which includes updating security and workflow configurations, importing data, creating custom scripts, and generating reports.
• Setting up alerts and notifications using email and other messaging capabilities within the platform.
• Ensuring optimal performance of the system.
• Troubleshooting, resolving, and/or escalating system incidents as they occur.
• Carrying out daily operational management and administrative tasks.
• Generating reports and dashboards based on established measures, metrics, and key performance indicators.
• Proposing enhancements regarding the platform, processes, or reporting.
• Ensuring that policies are applied in the administration of the platform.
• Providing on-call support for ServiceNow.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, encompassing both development and administration.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and similar technologies.
• Understanding of ServiceNow platform integrations with external systems.
• Familiarity with the Agile framework and experience in assessing effort levels related to enhancements, defects, and user stories.
• Experience with Core, Knowledge Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Hardware and Software Asset Management modules.
• Skilled in building automation workflows and capable of reviewing code for simple workflows (e.g., those created with Catalog Builder).
• Experience in creating business rules, client scripts, and notifications.
• Knowledge of implementing LDAP, SSO, and user/group/role management.
• Understanding of CMDB concepts.
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting processes.
• Strong grasp of the ITSM framework (ITIL).
