This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Conduct service operations on the complete range of Starline products at customer locations.
• Collaborate directly with end users and contractors to ensure all on-site products are operational and tested before system activation.
• Implement a System Startup checklist during customer visits.
• Configure Starline CPM and third-party meters at the customer site.
• Exhibit the capability to identify and resolve intricate network problems.
• Provide meter programming and networking assistance to customers via phone.
• Prepare a startup certification report along with a meter commissioning report.
• Maintain professionalism and respect while engaging with customers on-site.
• Achieve a Level 1 Thermography Certification to perform IR scans on energized Busway components.
• Troubleshoot and rectify on-site issues as requested by end users and contractors.
• Educate and mentor internal and third-party technicians regarding on-site services.
• Propose new services based on market needs.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with customers.
• Service-oriented mindset, consistently seeking ways to assist others.
• Strong critical thinking abilities, utilizing logic and reasoning to pinpoint onsite product issues.
• Basic understanding of network communication protocols (Telnet, SNMP, BACnet, etc.).
• Familiarity with Starline Busway and its products.
• Professional presentation as a representative of Starline.
• Willingness to undertake overnight travel, potentially staying in a single location for up to four consecutive nights or longer on rare occasions.
• Commitment to training and supporting both internal technicians as well as on-site customers, electricians, contractors, and end users.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
• Capability to rent a vehicle.
• Eligibility to obtain government-mandated security clearances.
• Valid Passport required.
• Ability to acquire a company credit card.
• Experience with power and electrical testing tools and equipment.
• Advanced knowledge and experience with electrical components and meters.
• Willingness to complete required training and certification programs.
