Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for delivering on-site assistance to Hobart Service clients, including but not limited to: the installation and/or servicing of commercial food equipment.

• Responsible for the installation of mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment and providing support for more complex installations as necessary.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair basic mechanical commercial food equipment for customers on a contract and/or time and materials (T&M) basis.

• Perform and record preventative maintenance on both mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment.

• Enforce and assist with standard operating procedures as specified in Hobart Service safety manuals and programs.

• Contribute to branch and organizational financial goals by delivering a high-quality customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED coupled with 2-4 years of experience in electrical and mechanical fields, or

• High school diploma or GED with 0-2 years of HVACR service experience along with an EPA certification, or

• Vocational certificate in HVACR.

• An Associate’s degree or Vocational Certificate is preferred.

• Previous experience in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment is preferred.

• Certification in the industry is highly desirable and may depend on the position/location.
