Service Technician I – Utility Scale Solar

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Director of Field Operations, Commissioning & Warranty Manager, and fellow Service Technicians.

• Ensure that customer requirements are met effectively and in a timely manner.

• Acquire an understanding of the complexities of Array’s tracker portfolio.

• Function within a team-oriented environment.

• Assist with retrofits, repowering, commissioning, and service repairs.

• Confirm that tools and equipment utilized during field activities are in proper working condition.

• Oversee Concur’s expense reporting system.

• Submit daily Field Service Reports.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel extensively, potentially up to 90% of the calendar year.

• A valid Driver’s License is required.

• Familiarity with basic hand tools.

• Basic mathematical skills.

• Entry-level understanding of mechanical systems.

• Entry-level understanding of electrical systems.

• Strong leadership abilities.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Effective problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong customer-facing demeanor.

• Physical dexterity to perform manual tasks in extreme temperatures.

• Preferred experience in utility-scale solar.

• Preferred knowledge of utility-scale construction.

• Entry-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Entry-level experience with Salesforce is preferred.

• Experience with mechanical and electrical tools is preferred.

• OSHA 10 certification or higher is preferred.

• NFPA 70E certification is preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
