Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Execute daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual refrigeration repairs, as well as predictive and preventative maintenance for industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia/CO2/Freon) in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring excellent customer service.

• Carry out routine and emergency maintenance and repair services on equipment, including compressors, condensers, pumps, motors, valves, and conducting electrical troubleshooting of systems, automation/controls, and alarm systems.

• Perform repairs and seal replacements on compressors from various manufacturers.

• Conduct preventative maintenance such as compressor alignment and vibration analyses utilizing the latest technologies.

• Show a thorough understanding and compliance with all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Operate independently or with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to troubleshoot and repair Ammonia/CO2/Freon industrial refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting ammonia refrigeration manuals, documents, and diagrams (P&ID’s).

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

• Strong technical and mechanical capabilities.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Efficient time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

• Must successfully complete a drug screening for employment.

• Must pass a physical examination and Respirator FIT Testing.

• Physically capable of climbing ladders, working at elevated heights, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
