This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee daily lending operations processes, encompassing loan administration and servicing tasks.
• Facilitate payments, transactions, service requests, administrative duties, and fulfill stakeholder inquiries in accordance with service level agreements.
• Provide support for mortgages, consumer lending, leasing, and/or commercial lending operations.
• Advise the assigned business/group on the implementation of solutions.
• Assist with strategic initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders.
• Address standard and non-standard inquiries from internal business partners as well as external customers.
• Monitor performance metrics and address any issues that arise.
• Combine information from various sources to improve processes, enhance analysis, and streamline reporting.
• Collect and format data for regular and ad-hoc reporting and dashboard creation.
• Aid in the execution and sustainment of change management activities.
• Resolve standard issues while escalating more complex, non-routine issues.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of business processes and procedures.
• Plan, test, and execute projects along with new or modified products, services, and processes.
• Accurately process service requests, transactions, and activities in a timely manner.
• Verify and reconcile information and documentation, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
• Carry out administrative documentation tasks while maintaining accurate records.
• Enter, review, and confirm loan information and documentation.
• Analyze data and information to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively on the development and improvement of new processes and systems.
• Stay informed about regulatory requirements and operational risks.
• Assist in the development of tools and the delivery of training programs.
• Implement BMO's Risk Management Framework and make informed risk decisions.
• Typically possess 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Hold a post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology.
• Comprehensive understanding of business-unit products, services, processes, and controls.
• Strong knowledge of business risk and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent prioritization skills.
• Proficient in PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Specialized knowledge obtained through education and/or professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient influence skills.
• Bilingual fluency in French and English to assist clients and team members in Quebec and beyond.
