Service Project Manager – Mining and Materials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Supervise the execution of service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements in our North American territory.

• Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring all customer needs and performance targets are achieved.

• Deliver exceptional service throughout every phase of the customer order process.

• Oversee customer service orders to ensure adherence to best practices in cost management, resource utilization, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards.

• Evaluate and mitigate project risks, while consistently sharing learned lessons.

• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate contract negotiations and resolve claims with clients.

• Generate quotes and execute contract modifications based on client requirements.

• Meet service order objectives and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Coordinate the efforts of the project team, including engineering, testing, site operations, and subcontractors.

• Assess status, track, analyze, and report on contract performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field is highly preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing projects related to industrial control systems and electrical equipment.

• Required experience in industrial and/or utility sectors.

• Proven track record in managing project scope, budget, financial analysis, timelines, and vendor/subcontractor relationships.

• A collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• French language skills are considered a valuable asset.

• Strong computer proficiency, including SAP or other ERP systems, as well as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
