This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Responsible for executing the necessary functions for billing, collecting, analyzing, and adjudicating all professional and/or hospital billing and collection activities.
• Implements programs to ensure the efficient operation of processes that generate adequate cash flow to support operations and strategic objectives.
• Oversees a portfolio of accounts to ensure successful claims adjudication on a monthly basis.
• Communicates relevant functional activities to leadership and senior management regarding billing, insurance follow-ups, cash flow, cash applications, revenue enhancement, organizational profitability, customer service, accounts receivable outcomes, and revenue management results.
• Engages in a minimum of sixty hours of classroom training annually.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) - (Required)
• Associate's Degree - (Preferred)
• At least 3 years of related work experience - (Required)
• Proficient in Epic Resolute Healthcare Billing: Follow-up / Accounts Receivable
• Certified Professional Coder Apprentice (CPC-A) in medical coding
• Experience in Patient Access / Medical Appointment Scheduling
