This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic guidance over field operations within the NAM region.
• Lead and organize field service operations to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality customer support.
• Supervise field operation managers, field engineers, and technicians.
• Oversee service schedules, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive operational performance across HVDC, FACTS, ACIS, and GIS technologies.
• Promote operational excellence, safety, and quality while fostering a culture of accountability.
• Mentor the team to deliver seamless, value-driven service that enhances long-term customer relationships and supports business growth.
• Supervise the field operations group.
• Manage the development of field specialists and field engineers, focusing on their personal and skill advancements.
• Ensure the field group maintains the expected productivity levels.
• Anticipate business development needs and formulate staffing plans to support growth.
• Ensure precise resource allocation and capacity planning to meet project requirements.
• Keep field activity planning current.
• Filter requests and ensure stability for the field group.
• Oversee 24/7 response operations and maintain rotation planning.
• Act as the primary escalation point and strategic partner for the client.
• Build and sustain executive-level relationships to guarantee high customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.
• Actively promote EHS and ensure field personnel are trained according to legal requirements.
• Ensure that appropriate PPE is provided to field specialists.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a team management role.
• Previous experience in field operations related to Services and operations.
• Strong preference for a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Work experience in Transmission and Distribution substation engineering for utilities and renewable energy power plants.
• Field experience in electrical, mechanical, controls, and protection disciplines.
• Proficiency in English; fluency in French is desirable.
