Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Precision Care by offering technical advisory support to GE HealthCare Field Engineers within the USCAN Region.

• Manage the systematic process for field responses to proactive, system-generated alerts.

• Provide constructive feedback on remote technical assistance to clients.

• Employ remote tools such as RSvP, SynerGE, “Gameplan”, and the CRU process to enhance service effectiveness.

• Assist Field Engineers by leveraging innovative technology solutions to improve productivity and quality.

• Serve as a change agent and field "expert" for these initiatives while monitoring the performance of New Product Introductions.

• Collect data and communicate findings with Product Operations and Modality Engineering teams to enhance product installation ease, reliability, and serviceability.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of service engineering experience in the repair and maintenance of GEHC systems for a specific modality.

• Profound technical expertise in one or more healthcare modalities.

• Proven ability to manage and resolve complex technical challenges while applying expert-level knowledge to relevant systems.

• Strong multi-tasking abilities to oversee intricate remote troubleshooting processes.

• Outstanding communication skills when interacting with customers.

• Capacity to maintain composure under pressure.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% or more as needed for customer site visits and training sessions.

• Flexibility to work different shifts to cover vacations, holidays, and emergency situations.

• Proficient computer skills supporting service performance analytics, including expertise in Excel, email, and PowerPoint.
