Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• You start your workday from home and visit your clients in your designated region according to your schedule.

• Your personal service van is stocked overnight with the necessary materials.

• Upon arrival at the client's location, you work on installations based on maintenance and service contracts, blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.

• You are responsible for commissioning our refrigeration units and heat pumps.

• Additionally, as a Service Engineer, you provide support to installers during inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of systems in accordance with relevant guidelines and legal regulations at our clients' sites.

• You decommission installations and recommission them, focusing on optimal performance.

• You assess whether repair or replacement is necessary and provide technical advice to the client.

• You investigate malfunctions and ensure they are resolved.

• Alongside the technical aspects of the role, you are also responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting (digitally) on your own work.

⛳️ Requirements

• You hold a technical foundational education;

• You have several years of experience as a service technician/service engineer;

• You possess practical knowledge of air conditioning systems;

• Ideally, you are also capable of resolving issues related to control technology;

• You hold an F-gas certificate category 1 (required);

• You represent Carrier, which means you speak good Dutch, have a service-oriented attitude, and treat your clients with respect.
