This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive transition from signed contracts to operational network services.
• Manage the implementation of circuits, execution of cross-connects, and activation of capacity across various network delivery projects.
• Act as the technical point of contact between the Acquisition team and Network Operations.
• Minimize Mean Time to Deliver and ensure that infrastructure partners uphold their commitments.
• Address delivery obstacles and collaborate with Network Engineering, Supply Chain, and external carriers.
• Carry out complete technical provisioning and execution processes.
• Monitor the delivery of Dark Fiber, Wavelengths, and IP Transit services, as well as carrier milestones.
• Coordinate both physical and logical activations while ensuring accuracy in network inventory, port allocation, and asset tracking.
• Assess carrier and vendor performance, escalate any delays, and pinpoint vendor-related risks.
• Identify bottlenecks in the Order-to-Service process, assist with automation efforts, and contribute to enhancements in network management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network service delivery, telecommunications operations, or technical program management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including Dark Fiber IRUs, high-capacity transport, or data center construction.
• Strong understanding of both physical and logical networking layers, encompassing fiber characterization, optical transceivers, and cross-connect architectures.
• Preferred experience with a major ISP or Tier 1/2 Carrier in provisioning or service delivery.
• Ability to leverage data and KPIs to enhance operational efficiency and identify project risks is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, along with experience in vendor account management, are preferred.
• Familiarity with Network Inventory Management systems and Salesforce-based order management workflows is preferred.
