This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop, oversee, and enhance Preferred Supplier programs within vehicle manufacturer Paint & Body initiatives.
• Ensure that suppliers provide top-quality products, services, and performance in alignment with vehicle manufacturer networks.
• Offer leadership and assistance to maximize program revenue.
• Manage relationships with preferred suppliers in the areas of paint, consumables, distribution, and equipment.
• Enhance the utilization of approved products by repairers.
• Engage with suppliers, customers, paint companies, distributors, and dry goods providers to meet program goals.
• Communicate and promote preferred supplier products and services to VWG Paint and Body Centres.
• Assist bodyshops in implementing preferred supplier solutions to improve efficiency and commercial advantages.
• Monitor supplier adherence to quality, delivery, and commercial performance benchmarks.
• Analyze sales, performance, and product compliance data to uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Utilize dashboards and scorecards to oversee performance and guide data-driven program decisions.
• Conduct evaluations of supplier performance and scorecard assessments.
• Propel corrective action plans and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate the onboarding of suppliers, product launches, and training programs.
• Collaborate with internal field teams and suppliers to integrate new network sites.
• Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership and vehicle manufacturer clients.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer network requirements and standards.
• Represent the program at industry events, supplier meetings, and performance assessments.
• Facilitate workshops, supplier events, and engagement initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in the automotive paint & body sector, aftermarket supply chain, or refinish product distribution.
• A proven history of strong performance in driving key operational metrics and performance.
• Strong expertise in supplier account management, commercial program management, or network performance roles.
• Proven success in managing commercial contracts, rebates, pricing models, and supplier performance KPIs.
• Experience in analyzing performance data to drive commercial enhancements.
• Understanding of bodyshop workflows, paint systems, consumables, and product compliance requirements.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with center staff at all levels, including Bodyshop Managers, Regional Managers, Group Directors, and senior management teams.
• Commercially focused, results-oriented, and proactive in addressing performance challenges.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and high standards.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Confident communicator capable of presenting credibly to suppliers and manufacturer clients.
• Skilled in building strong relationships and maintaining a professional and engaging demeanor.
