Senior Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate, multi-workstream programs from the initial planning stage through to delivery.

• Manage scope, timelines, resources, budgets, dependencies, and risks effectively.

• Develop and maintain integrated program plans, governance frameworks, RAID logs, decision registers, and reporting schedules.

• Coordinate resources and dependencies across various functions.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and program sponsors to communicate effectively, highlight risks, and facilitate decision-making.

• Question scope, assumptions, and proposed methods through thorough engagement with initiative content.

• Assist in strategic initiatives related to the CFA Institute's 2030 strategy and operational/business change programs.

• Evaluate current and future states, identify gaps and requirements, and convert them into organized delivery plans.

• Oversee organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, and change initiatives.

• Monitor program health, budgets, and delivery progress using data and reporting mechanisms.

• Adjust delivery methods across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, proven experience in program management and delivery, including responsibility for complex, multi-workstream, cross-functional programs.

• Strong track record of independently managing program plans, budgets, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and governance.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and coordinating delivery across various business functions.

• Capability to integrate into an established portfolio and operate effectively with a high level of autonomy.

• Proactive approach to unfamiliar subject matter, program content, scope, and direction.

• Excellent stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience utilizing structured program and project management methodologies and tools.

• Strong business insight and the ability to align program delivery with broader business objectives.
