Service Delivery Manager, German Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with our customer base across the EMEA region.

• Work closely with our sales teams (Account Managers and Solutions Engineers) to cultivate robust customer relationships that contribute to the growth of the Cloudera Professional Services business.

• Define, scope, and promote our Professional Services portfolio.

• Assist in the preparation of Statements of Work or Change Orders for review by our legal and operations teams.

• Lead the services engagement with our clients, serving as the primary point of contact, coaching customer project managers throughout their Cloudera journey, and overseeing the overall engagement budget.

• Plan and forecast our resourcing requirements, collaborating with our resourcing team to assign appropriately skilled resources to your customer engagements.

• Implement the necessary level of project governance for each engagement, working directly with the customer to ensure alignment on Cloudera tasks and activities.

• Act as a liaison between the customer and various departments within Cloudera, including Support and Engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in effectively managing project or engagement delivery, ideally within an enterprise software or SaaS company.

• Proficiency in written and spoken German language skills.

• Experience in leading, scoping, and delivering consulting projects related to data.

• Exceptional customer relationship management skills, including handling escalations and participating in executive steering meetings.

• Strong foundational understanding of the IT domain.

• In-depth knowledge of software implementation and project/program management methodologies.

• Self-motivated mindset and collaborative problem-solving abilities.

• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in English communication is preferred, along with fluency in two major languages – German and Italian (both written and verbal).

• Excellent analytical capabilities.

• Relevant Project Management certifications.

• Willingness to travel up to 10-20% as needed.
